TMC4671-BOB: Fully Integrated Servo Controller with FOC for BLDC/PMSM and 2 Ph Stepper Motors
The TMC4671 breakout board is a development board with the dedicated TMC4671-ES chip. It is designed to give users the chance to rapidly prototype their applications - making it possible to immediately check how the motor performs with TMC chips while developing the application's software.
The TMC4671 is a fully integrated servo controller, providing Field Oriented Control for BLDC/PMSM and 2-phase Stepper Motors as well as DC motors and voice coils. All control functions are implemented in hardware. Integrated ADCs, position sensor interfaces, position interpolators, enable a fully functional servo controller for a wide range of servo applications.
The real-time monitoring interface connector is used to connect to Trinamic's RTMI adapter for live monitoring and tuning of the TMC4671 control loops at control loop sampling frequency. The onboard connector itself is of type Hirose DF20F-10DP-1V (56). The mating female counter part is of type Hirose DF20A-10DS-1C. A connecting cable comes with the USB-2-RTMI adapter.
